Thelma Eakin

yesterday we had a visoter called Thelma Eakin she is the  author of the book the mines a fire.
She brought a Davie safty lamp and a mini statue like the one at brunner mine site.

    Thank you for sharing the photo's of Thelma's visit. Did you enjoy her visit? I certainly did! What was one thing you learnt from her coming in? I found it really interesting that she was able to speak with Billy Mosely before he passed away. He must have been a wealth of knowledge!

    That is so cool that you got to met the author of this book. Have you ever read the book? If so what is it like? Is it a fiction or a non fiction? I really like how you include photos, but maybe next time you could include something that theamla shared with you.
